Erin Savage, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I had the privilege of working at McLean Hospital as a registered nurse on inpatient psychiatric units. During this time, I cared for clients with various mental health diagnoses, facilitated coping skills-based group therapy, and collaborated closely with interdisciplinary treatment teams. This experience ignited my passion for working with clients experiencing mental health conditions.
Approach
I approach each client with compassion and empathetic listening. By understanding your goals and experiences, I tailor your treatment to meet your individual needs. I encourage open communication and collaboration throughout the treatment planning process to build a foundation of trust as we develop our therapeutic relationship. My approach incorporates brief cognitive behavioral therapy, coping skills training, and medication management in each appointment.
I believe that mental health is an essential aspect of healthcare. Working with clients with diverse diagnoses, I thrive on witnessing clients succeed and achieve their long-term goals. I am dedicated to providing personalized care that empowers individuals to reach their fullest potential.
